Welcome to the ESRC Festival of Social Science
The ESRC Festival of Social Science is on from 12-21 March 2010 as part of National Science and Engineering Week.

In 2009 it was more popular and exciting than ever; consisting of over 110 events in 7 regions and 40 different cities in the UK. The fascinating events have provided an insight into some of the country's leading Social Science research and how it influences our social, economic and political lives - both now and in the future.
Events took a variety of formats; from traditional lectures and exhibitions to theatrical performances, film screenings and topical debates. Events were aimed at a range of different audiences, including policy makers, business, the media, the general public and students of all ages. (Please see the 2009 Festival Evaluation (PDF))
