The 2010 Festival of Social Science promises to be more popular and exciting than ever with over 130 events happening in 7 regions and in over 40 different cities in the UK. The fascinating events will provide an insight into some of the country's leading social science research and how it influences our social, economic and political lives - both now and in the future.
Events take a variety of formats; from traditional lectures and exhibitions to theatrical performances, film screenings and topical debates. Events are aimed at a range of different audiences, including policy makers, business, the media, the general public and students of all ages. (Please see the 2009 Festival Evaluation (PDF) to read more about what happened in 2009.)
