In addition to Higher Education Institutions funded by the four Higher Education Funding Councils, ESRC has recognised the following organisations as Independent Research Organisations (IROs). These organisations meet the revised eligibility criteria announced on the RCUK website on 26 October 2006. Further information will be published on this page, in the near future, outlining the application process for any organisation wishing to apply to be recognised as an IRO and therefore to be eligible to submit applications to the ESRC.
