      • Lifecourse - the entire period of a life from birth to death
      • Lifelong learning - acquisition of knowledge and skills throughout the lifecourse, as opposed to initial time in full time education
      • Skills - "how to" knowledge, often vocational such as plumbing, or foundation such as literacy and numeracy 
      • Teaching methods - ways of conveying new knowledge and skills to learners, often pupils
