New interdisciplinary programme on resilience to seismic-related natural hazardsThe ESRC is delighted to be able to announce it will be working with the NERC to support an exciting new programme of research into increasing resilience to earthquakes and volcanoes as part of the LWEC programme. The new investment of £7M in total will support new interdisciplinary, basic, applied and strategic research and will include an important element of capacity building in the first year of funding. Further details about this new programme will be announced in due course with a view to starting new work later this year.
