Mr Paul Grice

Mr Paul Grice is the clerk and Chief Executive of the Scottish Parliament, which is responsible for delivering all services to the parliament and its members. He has worked in the devolved parliament since its inception in 1999. Previously Mr Grice worked for the Department of Transport and subsequently, the Department of the Environment on Bus De-regulation, Railways Policy and Local Government Finance. He worked in the Scottish Office from 1992 until 1999 where his posts included housing and urban regeneration. Mr Grice has a wide range of interests in the area of social policy including local government finance, urban regeneration and constitutional policy. He is member of Court at the University of Stirling.
