RCUK-FAPESP bilateral agreement for the International Partnership and Networking Scheme
This page is for information only. The call is now closed.
Applicants are invited to utilise the RCUK lead agency agreement with the State of São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in Brazil. The agreement allows for the submission of bilateral applications which involve international collaborative teams from the UK and the State of São Paulo, with the ESRC funding the UK side up to a limit of £25,000 (100 per cent fEC) and FAPESP funding the São Paulo side up to a limit of R$25,000.
Collaborative proposals may be made for activities within the remit of the International Partnership and Networking Scheme. Applicants wishing to utilise the agreement must complete two additional forms: the FAPESP-RCUK proposal form and FAPESP consolidated budget spreadsheet - both of which are available on the FAPESP website.
These should be uploaded as attachments to the IPNS Je-S form. All joint applications received will be assessed by both UK and São Paulo reviewers. Please note that for networking activities FAPESP delivers funds in the form of lump sum payments, and the level of funding requested will be assessed according to the proportion of activity undertaken by each side.
Applicants wishing to make a joint application are advised to consult the Operation of the RCUK-FAPESP Lead Agency Agreement Guidance Note (RCUK website).
