	Professor Roger Jeffery is Dean International (India) at the University of Edinburgh, and holder of ESRC-DFID awards in Phase 1 and Phase 2.
	Professor James Smith is Director of Edinburgh University's Global Development Academy, Director of the Centre of African Studies and holds a personal Chair in African and Development Studies.
