More effective breast cancer care

Studying scan imagesThe outcomes of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project with King's College London enabled the charity Breast Cancer Care to plan services for groups of people with breast cancer who have traditionally been under-served. Breast Cancer Care worked with The Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery at King's College London to identify and explore barriers to its services and to develop a strategy for improving the uptake of services by people affected by breast cancer, especially from hard to reach groups.

As a direct result of the KTP, Breast Cancer Care has been able to invest their limited resources more cost-effectively reaching more clients.
