Conceptual models of adults learning in work-rentry programmes
Building conceptual models using Dynamic Concept Anbalysis enables researchers to describe and explain cases of adult learning, in ways that make the part played by tacit skills in learning and work-re-entry visible. The modelling approach can also be simplified for use by practitioners, as a basis for planning and making changes to individuals' learning programmes. Professor Seppo Kontiainen of the University of Helsinki is originator of the DCA method of modelling. He has collaborated with the researchers in the use, evaluation and further development of the DCA method of modelling in this research.
