Mood and emotions
In this chapter the authors Peter Terry and Andrew Lane explore mood and emotion. They first describe the early work that derived from the use of the Pro-file of Mood States, a clinical tool. Then they illuminate their sport-specific approach, which emphasizes the key role of depressed mood, before discussing the process of emotion and mood regulation.
