The University of Glasgow is the hub for a new inter-institutional Centre of Excellence under the Language-Based Area Studies initiative. CRCEES has been awarded initial funding of £4.7m over five years, and brings together distinguished national and international partners. The Centre offers postgraduate training in the form of language diplomas, taught and research masters degrees (in total 40 awards), and PhD scholarships (20 awards). A total of 8 post-doctoral fellowships will also be awarded.
