Changes are under way to the Research Outcomes System (ROS) meaning that there will be a freeze on all updates to ROS from 30 April until September 2014.

The launch of the Trans-Atlantic Platform (T-AP) in Social Sciences and Humanities Research took place in March in Amsterdam, Netherlands. T-AP is a three-year initiative funded by the European Union and is a global first among 15 national humanities and social science research funding agencies, of which the ESRC and the Arts and Humanities Research Councils (AHRC) are members.
The winners of the ESRC photo competition 'Where do I belong?' were announced yesterday at The Strand Gallery in London. Winning and shortlisted entries are exhibited at the gallery 18-23 March.

The UK Research Office (UKRO) will mark 30 years of effective UK engagement in EU research at a high-level reception event in Brussels today. UKRO is the European office of the UK Research Councils and during the last three decades UKRO has worked closely with them to support engagement in EU activities.
