Date and time: 3 November 2011 9.30-14.00

Conflict; war, what is it good for? This event is a conference where all y5 and y6 students from Brudenell Primary School in Leeds will take part. The students decided on the topic, in light of current conflict and revolutions in North Africa and the Middle East.

Students will work in teams, to solve a given conflict. Each team will take on a role like a grass roots organisation, trade union, political party, local or global business, government, the UN and world powers. Experienced student volunteers will help the groups in their role- plays.
