Hard cases: shaping legal policy - Achosion anodd: llunio polisi cyfreithiol
Location: Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff, CF10 5AL
Date and time: 8 November, 18.00-20.00
This two-hour session will use case studies to explore how legal policymakers should respond to current issues such as paying for elderly care and the so-called 'compensation culture'. It will describe research on these issues and invite the audience to discuss and vote on their preferred legal outcomes.
Bydd y sesiwn ddwy awr hon yn defnyddio astudiaethau achos i archwilio sut y dylai llunwyr polisi cyfreithiol ymateb i broblemau cyfredol fel talu am ofal i’r henoed a ‘diwylliant iawndal’. Bydd yn disgrifio gwaith ymchwil ar y problemau hyn ac yn gwahodd y gynulleidfa i drafod a phleidleisio ar y canlyniadau cyfreithiol a ffafrir.
